This part of the house was in the way so it was removed.

Large machinery makes demolition easy

The section of house and foundation has been removed. Excavation is done for the new addition.

New footings are formed for the addition and garage

The basement is at two levels. The sump pump will be installed in the lower level. (for obvious reasons)

The new poured foundation is in and the Rub-R-Wall waterproofing is applied.

Back filling is completed and soon the building will begin

From the front view, the new addition will start close to where the section of house that was torn off.

Looking from the back yard you can see the garage foundation as the floor is installed on the addition. The porch behind the house will also get added onto.

It was just as easy and a lot better job to just tear the walls & roof off the porch and start fresh.

The additions and garage are enclosed.

The garage floor is one of three areas that in-floor heat was installed
