Dave Bartlett Construction History

Bartlett Construction has been a family owned business in this community for over 40 years.

In the late 1940's and 50's Kenneth Bartlett started building homes in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. His son, Don, worked with him on the job and learned his trade from his experienced father. In 1965 Don started his business building a reputation of honesty, integrity, and fine custom building as a professional general contractor in Northeast Iowa.

For 35 years Don Bartlett Construction built many new homes, additions, and remodeling projects. Dave Bartlett worked along side his Dad for many years helping build a reputation known today as one of the premier builders in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area. In 2001 the company name was changed to Dave Bartlett Construction, and in 2003 became a corporation. Dave works on the job daily with only a few employees to ensure high quality standards, professionalism, direct communication, and simply..... because he loves building and working with people.
